iPhone is finally on sale
The long awaited iphone if finally in the market, well how many people really liked it? Is it upto consumer expectations ? Can Apple reach the target sales of 1% of total mobile phones on the globe by 2008?
This is not a cheap phone, it currently costs either $499 for 4GB or $599 for 8GB and consumers must also commit to a two-year contract with AT&T that will cost them a minimum of $59.99 per month in USA. Â
The handset has also been criticised because it does not use the 3G network, does not support instant messaging or voice-activated dialling and does not let people choose ringtones beyond the 25 pre-installed on it.
Some analysts say it will face competetion from Nokia. The Nokia N95 currently in the market is lot cheaper and it got better features than iphone. Well I’m not a big fan of Touch screen..
Apple’s much-hyped iPhone will not be available in the UK until the autumn and it will face plenty of competition. Who will win the contract? Virgin, O2, T-mobile or Orange!
Let’s wait and see how good it is. For the time being enjoy this iphone video..
